How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling is the process of dismantling and reusing the components and materials of end-of-life vehicles. Initially, the vehicle is inspected, and usable parts that can be resold or reused are removed. Fluids such as oil, fuel, and coolant are drained and properly disposed of or recycled. The remaining vehicle carcass is then crushed and transported to shredding facilities, where it is broken down into smaller materials like steel, aluminum, and plastics. These materials are separated and classified for further processing and recycling. Metals are typically melted down and repurposed for manufacturing new products, while plastics and other materials may be recycled into various forms or repurposed for alternative uses. The whole process aims to minimize waste and make efficient use of the materials, thus contributing positively to environmental conservation.
