FAQs on Car Recycling Process
How does Car Recycling work?
Car recycling is an environmentally friendly process that involves dismantling end-of-life vehicles to recover useful parts and materials. Initially, the car is assessed for usable components, which are removed for resale or refurbishing. Fluids such as oil, coolant, and fuel are drained to prevent environmental contamination. Non-metal parts like plastics and glass are also separated. The remaining metal shell is crushed and shredded into small pieces, enabling efficient separation of metals. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are extracted using magnetic and eddy current separators, allowing them to be recycled into new products. This process significantly reduces waste and conserves natural resources by minimizing the need for raw material extraction.
