FAQ – Vehicle Recycling
How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling is a multi-step process that aims to efficiently dismantle vehicles in an environmentally-friendly manner. Initially, hazardous materials such as battery acid and fuel are safely removed. Usable parts like engines, transmissions, and electronics are then extracted for resale or refurbishment. The vehicle is subsequently crushed or shredded, separating the metal, plastic, and other materials. Metals are typically sold to manufacturers for recycling into new products, while non-metallic materials may be processed further or disposed of according to regulatory guidelines. This process not only reduces waste but also conserves natural resources by reusing and recycling components.
