Automotive Scrapyard FAQ
How does Automotive Scrapyard work?
Automotive scrapyards collect and dismantle end-of-life vehicles for parts and materials recycling. When a vehicle arrives, it is assessed for usable components. Parts like engines, transmissions, and electronic systems are removed for resale. Hazardous materials such as oils, coolants, and batteries are safely extracted and disposed of. The remaining metal body is crushed and sent to metal recycling facilities. This process contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing waste and promoting the reuse of automotive materials.
