FAQ: Car Recycling
How does Car Recycling work?
Car recycling involves several stages to ensure that materials are reused and environmental impact is minimized. Firstly, the vehicle is inspected, and reusable parts are removed. Usable components such as engines, transmissions, and batteries are refurbished and resold. Following this, the vehicle is drained of hazardous fluids, which are disposed of safely. The remaining car body is then crushed and shredded. During this process, ferrous and non-ferrous metals are separated using magnets and air classification techniques. These materials are then recycled to manufacture new products. By effectively recycling cars, the process helps conserve natural resources, reduce the need for new raw materials, and decrease environmental pollution.
