How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling begins with the collection of end-of-life vehicles, which are then transported to a recycling facility. Here, vehicles undergo a depollution process, where hazardous materials such as oils, coolants, and batteries are carefully removed. Following depollution, the vehicles are dismantled to salvage usable parts that can be reused or resold. The remaining vehicle body is crushed and shredded, separating metal from non-metal materials. Once separated, metals are melted and repurposed, reducing the need for new raw materials. This process not only conserves resources but also minimizes environmental impact by reducing pollution and energy consumption associated with manufacturing new metal products.
