Automotive Scrapyard FAQ
How does Automotive Scrapyard work?
An automotive scrapyard, also known as a salvage yard or wrecking yard, is a facility where old, wrecked, decommissioned, or otherwise non-operational vehicles are brought for dismantling. Upon arrival, the operable and valuable parts of the vehicle, such as engines, transmissions, and body panels, are removed and potentially resold. Fluids are drained and disposed of responsibly. The remaining metal components of the vehicle are then recycled. This process not only provides affordable parts for repair and restoration but also contributes to environmental conservation by recycling materials and reducing waste.
