What happens to a car when it’s scrapped?
When a car is scrapped, it goes through a process where all usable parts are removed and recycled, such as tires, batteries, and fluids. The remaining metal body of the car is then crushed and sent to a shredder to be separated into ferrous and non-ferrous metal for recycling.
