How does a Catalytic Converter work?
Catalytic converters work by using a catalyst to facilitate chemical reactions that convert harmful pollutants into less harmful emissions before they exit a vehicle’s exhaust system. These devices contain a core made of ceramic or metal, often coated with catalyst materials such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium.
