Car Recycling Process
How does Car Recycling work?
Car recycling is a comprehensive process designed to recover and repurpose usable materials from end-of-life vehicles. This typically begins with the removal of hazardous materials and reusable parts, such as batteries and tires. The vehicle is then dismantled to extract components that can be resold or reused, like engines and transmissions. Once stripped of usable elements, the remaining structure is crushed and sent through shredders to break it down into smaller pieces. These fragments undergo further separation to sort metals from other materials. Recovered metals, particularly steel and aluminum, are then melted and reformed for use in manufacturing new products, thereby reducing the need for virgin resources and minimizing environmental impact.
