FAQ: Catalytic Converters Recycling
How does Catalytic Converters Recycling work?
Catalytic converter recycling involves the recovery of precious metals such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium from used catalytic converters. The process begins with collecting and sorting the converters by type. Next, they are decanned to remove the ceramic or metallic monolith that contains the valuable metals. This is followed by a refining process where the monolith is crushed and processed to extract and purify the precious metals. These metals can then be sold or reused in new catalytic converters or other applications.
