Abandoned Auto Pickup
How does Abandoned Auto Pickup work?
Abandoned Auto Pickup is a service provided by the city to remove vehicles that have been left unattended or are inoperable on public or private property. The process begins when a vehicle is reported as abandoned. Once reported, an investigation is conducted to determine the vehicle’s status. If deemed abandoned, the owner is notified and given a specific time frame to claim or move the vehicle. If the vehicle remains unclaimed, it is towed and stored in a secure facility. The owner can retrieve the vehicle upon payment of any applicable fines and storage fees. If unclaimed within a set period, the vehicle may be auctioned or scrapped in compliance with local regulations.
