How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling involves the systematic dismantling of a vehicle’s parts and materials to either reuse or recycle them. The process typically begins with the removal of hazardous materials such as batteries, airbags, and fluids. Next, reusable components like engines, transmissions, and body parts are extracted. The remaining car body, consisting mostly of metal, is then crushed and shredded. These shredded materials are sorted and processed for recycling. This process not only minimizes waste but also reduces the need for producing new materials, leading to significant environmental benefits.
