FAQ – Metal Recycling
How does Metal Recycling work?
Metal recycling involves collecting and processing scrap metals to create new materials. The process begins with the collection of scrap metal from various sources, including households, industries, and construction sites. These metals are then sorted and cleaned to remove any impurities, such as non-metal materials and excess paint or coatings. Once sorted, the metals are melted in large furnaces, where they are purified and then cast into specific shapes or cooled into ingots. After cooling, the recycled metal is ready to be manufactured into new products, significantly reducing the environmental impact and energy consumption compared to traditional mining and refining processes.
