What happens to a vehicle during the recycling process?
During the vehicle recycling process, the vehicle is dismantled and various parts are sorted for reuse or recycling. Fluids such as oil and coolant are drained, and hazardous materials are disposed of properly. The remaining metal frame and parts are crushed and shredded to be melted down for recycling.
