Upon arrival, these vehicles are assessed, and valuable parts are removed for resale. Next, fluids such as oil, gasoline, and coolant are drained and properly disposed of or recycled. Following this, parts that can’t be reused are stripped from the vehicle for recycling or disposal. The remaining vehicle body, often composed of metal, is crushed and either recycled or sold as scrap metal.
