Vehicle Recycling FAQ
How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling involves dismantling old or end-of-life vehicles to recover valuable parts and materials. The process typically begins with an assessment to determine which components can be reused or resold. Fluids such as oil, coolant, and gasoline are drained and recycled or disposed of properly. Parts like batteries, tires, and catalytic converters are removed and processed separately. The remaining structure, primarily metal, is crushed and transported to shredding facilities, where it is broken down into small pieces. These materials are then sorted, melted, and repurposed for use in manufacturing new products. This process not only minimizes environmental impact but also conserves raw materials and energy.
