Automotive Scrapyard Operations
How does Automotive Scrapyard work?
An automotive scrapyard, also known as a wrecking yard, functions as a place where decommissioned vehicles are brought for dismantling and recycling. Once vehicles arrive at the scrapyard, they undergo a process that involves removing reusable parts, which are cleaned and tested for resale. Hazardous materials such as oils, coolants, and batteries are safely extracted and disposed of following environmental regulations. The remaining metal frame is crushed and sent to metal recycling facilities. This process helps in minimizing waste and conserving natural resources, while also providing cost-effective used parts to customers.
