How does Automotive Scrapyard work?
Automotive scrapyards, also known as salvage yards, function as specialized facilities for dismantling and recycling old, wrecked, or otherwise inoperative vehicles. Upon arrival at the facility, cars are assessed for reusable and valuable parts that can be resold. The vehicle’s fluids and hazardous materials are carefully extracted and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. Reusable parts such as engines, transmissions, and various components are then inventoried for sale. The remaining shell of the vehicle is crushed and processed for metal recycling. This process supports environmental sustainability by reducing waste and promoting the reuse of vehicle components.
