Car Recycling FAQ
How does Car Recycling work?
Car recycling is a process that aims to reduce waste and environmental impact by disassembling vehicles to salvage parts or materials. The process begins with the collection of end-of-life vehicles, which are then inspected and drained of hazardous fluids. Usable components like engines or transmissions are removed and either refurbished for resale or sold as used parts. The remaining structure is shredded, and materials such as metals, plastics, and glass are separated for recycling. This practice not only minimizes landfill use and resource consumption but also provides economic opportunities within the recycling and manufacturing industries.
