How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling begins with the collection of end-of-life or damaged vehicles. These vehicles are then transported to a recycling facility where they undergo a dismantling process. The initial step involves the safe removal and disposal of hazardous materials such as fluids from the vehicle. Once contaminants are eliminated, reusable parts are extracted for resale. Next, the remaining vehicle shell is shredded and sorted into different materials, primarily metals, by various separation techniques. The recovered metals are then sent to manufacturing units to be melted and reused in production, thus completing the recycling loop. This process not only reduces environmental impact but also conserves natural resources by reintroducing recycled materials into the economy.
