Vehicle Recycling FAQ
How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling involves the process of dismantling a vehicle for spare parts. At the end of a car’s life, the owner typically sells the vehicle to a salvage yard. Here, the car is stripped of usable parts, which are then cleaned, inspected, and resold. Fluids are drained to prevent pollution, and hazardous materials like batteries are safely disposed of or recycled. After the valuable parts are removed, the remaining metal body is crushed and transported to a recycling facility. This metal is then melted down and repurposed for manufacturing new products. Professional vehicle recyclers follow strict regulations to ensure a safe, environmentally friendly process.
