How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling involves the dismantling of vehicles for spare parts. At the end of a vehicle’s useful life, it is sent to a recycling facility where it’s thoroughly assessed and various parts are categorized for reuse, resale, or recycling. Usable parts are removed and refurbished, then resold. The remaining vehicle structure is subjected to processes such as shredding and separation to recover metals like steel and aluminum. Tires, batteries, and fluids are also carefully managed to ensure they are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner or recycled when possible.
