How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling begins with the collection of end-of-life vehicles that are no longer roadworthy or are beyond repair. These vehicles are transported to recycling facilities, where they undergo a depollution process to remove hazardous materials such as batteries, fuel, and oils. Once depolluted, the vehicle is dismantled, and usable parts are recovered for resale or remanufacturing. After dismantling, the vehicle body is shredded, and the resulting materials, including metals and plastics, are separated and sent to be recycled into new products.
