Vehicle Recycling
How does Vehicle Recycling work?
Vehicle recycling involves dismantling vehicles for spare parts and harvesting the remaining materials for recycling. The process typically begins when a vehicle reaches the end of its useful life and is no longer feasible to repair. Initially, any hazardous materials such as oils, fuels, and fluids are safely removed and properly disposed of. Next, usable parts like engines, transmissions, and electronics are extracted and refurbished for resale. The remaining vehicle body, primarily comprised of metals such as steel and aluminum, is then crushed and shredded. These metals are separated using various technologies and techniques, which are then sold to metal recycling facilities to be melted and repurposed. This process not only allows for the conservation of materials but also reduces the environmental impact of vehicle disposal.
